Before the authorities stepped in to close these sites many people had been tricked in to buying knock-off goods. When people make purchases from web stores which are not too well known they are taking a gamble. Make sure to take a good look at the site you are on and see that they provide full contact details including a phone number and address and remember that if the deal seems too good to be true then it probably is! If you purchase goods from an auction site such as Ebay then you also need to take care as many of the designer goods sold there are fakes.
